Background:

    A graduate of the Pokémon Professorship that is an expert in Breeding, Egg Group Studies, and Regional/Environmental Effects. He has studied the patterns of Pokemon breeding patterns and their egg groups.
    Henry has worked and continues to collaborate with Runarc Region’s Professor Ellinor Hazel. The two of them went through the Pokemon Professorship Program and were both in the same graduating class.
    An old mentor of Henry's is Gym Leader Horace Conroy. Horace had inspired Henry to take a deeper look at Pokémon to understand them better. Henry spent countless hours watching and studying different types of Pokémon. When he turned 25 he entered into the Pokémon Professorship Program. Within the PPP Henry showed an exceptional talent for understanding Breeding Patterns of Pokémon and their preferred Egg Groups. Getting a chance to study some of the effects of the Alola Region allowed him to further the studies of Professor Samson Oak on Regional Variants. Henry soon discovered that it was Alola that gave these variants but many other regions as well. After he graduated he returned to Elbion and took up the residency of the region's main Pokémon Professor. He spent time working through some notes Horace had taken on his journey as a Pokémon Trainer from sixty years ago and began to discover many Regional Variants within Elbion.
    Professor Hickory is also responsible for handing out the starter Pokémon of Eblion. Which he proudly encourages trainers from all over the region to choose from when they are of age. He also helped the almost extinct Glaceros thrive, by investing in a safe place for this Pokémon to breed without fear of predator or environmental disaster. Now the Glaceros' kin start off as Shagrass. He is able to give this out as Elbion's Official Grass Starter.
